The IMAP Regulatory Group's role is to provide a focal point for regulatory matters that impact on the Managed Account market participants - Advisers, Licensees, Platforms, Investment Managers

The Reguatory Group delivers representation to Regulators (ASIC, FASEA) which includes input, queries and feedback from IMAP's constituency of market participants, .

This representation takes the form of meetings, letters and submissions, plus messaging via media and IMAP's own communcations with its news & article subscribers.

This does not replace representation from individual organisations, (which is encouraged) but instead provides an industry wide view, and enables views to be expressed that are more indepedent of individual organisations

For more than 3 years ASIC has continued to actively work with IMAP to facilitate two way exchanges and as a means of expressing ASIC messages to the managed account market.
