Alex Donald is CEO of Ironbark’s Investment Solutions business and has over 25 years’ of experience in the financial services industry in both Australia and the UK.
Alex is responsible for Ironbark’s Funds Management and Corporate Trustee businesses. He manages the development and execution of the Investment Solutions strategy, and is responsible for overseeing manager selection, product development, and the distribution of Ironbark’s capabilities into the wholesale and institutional markets.
Before joining Ironbark in 2009, Alex was Head of Investment Sales for Colonial First State where he was responsible for the distribution of Colonial’s investment products in the Australian market.
Alex has a BA Hons degree in Politics and French from the University of Wales, Swansea

Adam’s appreciation for market risk was formed during a 15-year career trading equity derivatives, structuring derivative transactions and managing equity derivative traders.
Over the years Adam has developed a passion for ethical and sustainable investing, and has championed Pengana’s best-of-breed responsible investment Funds. He is also the investment specialist for the Pengana WHEB sustainable impact Fund.
Prior to joining Pengana, he headed the Equity Derivatives business at Investec Bank in South Africa and the Corporate Equity Structuring function at Investec Bank in Australia.

Prior to joining Australian Ethical, Adam held several roles within Macquarie's asset management business, in both APAC and Europe, as well as Head of Strategy where he oversaw business and corporate development.
Adam also spent a few years at a U.S. based alternative asset manager.

was responsible for the structuring and management of Macquarie’s listed and unlisted structured
product offering. Cameron’s other experience includes Head of Product at Bell Potter Capital,
working on JP Morgan’s Equity Derivatives desk and at Deloitte Consulting.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Master of
Commerce (Hons) from the University of New South Wales.

Caitriona was most recently Head of Distribution for Allianz Retire+ and was responsible for developing the take to market strategy for the AR+ business and their first retirement solution.
Prior to this she was the national account manager for PIMCO Australia, responsible for managing key dealer group and platform relationships including the implementation of an education led approach to distribution. Caitriona has also worked for Zurich Investments as well as a derivatives trader in Dublin and London.

David joined MLC in 2009 as Head of Asia, MLC Private Equity. His extensive industry experience, spanning over 20 years, includes corporate strategy, strategic due diligence, M&A, IT strategy, operational implementation, product design, financial modelling and process improvement. During his tenure at MLC, David has led coverage of Asian and EM companies and, while currently based in Sydney, he has also worked out of NY and London covering investments in Nth America and the UK.
He has worked closely with the many of the largest banks in Australia and Europe to implement their Asia and China entry strategies, including both M&A and greenfield branch expansion, where he was operationally involved in recruitment, process design and key governance aspects.
David started his career as a software engineer and system architect, working several high-profile organisations (e.g. Yahoo, Sun Microsystems, NRMA) on pioneering web applications and search engine technology. David has also gained a particular knowledge of the Asian financial services, being one of the most qualified experts in that sector.
David was placed first in both his Master of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Software Engineering (First Class Honours and University Medal) degrees from the University of New South Wales. He achieved a UAI of 100, ranking first in the State.
He is also a CFA charterholder and sits on the Infrastructure Investment Committee for MLC.

Kieran began working in the financial services industry in 1992 as a Financial Adviser for premier clients of The Standard Bank. By 1997 he was heading up special projects within Standard Bank, specifically focused on mortgage securities.
In 1997 Kieran immigrated to Australia after been “head- hunted” by a major international manufacturing, import and redistribution company based in Sweden; Poseidon AB. Kieran was tasked with starting up the new venture in Australia, Kieran took this company from start up through to eventual successful sale in 2002.
In late 2002 Kieran moved back into the Financial Services industry in the field of mortgage origination and setup and managed a boutique mortgage company, this company was acquired by Centric Wealth in late 2003.
Kieran joined Centric Wealth in 2003 in the role of Head of Lending, in 2009 Kieran become Head of Treasury Services and subsequently Head of Products and Services.
Kieran joined the Findex Group Management Team as a result of its 2014 acquisition. Kieran is now Chief Investment Officer for the Findex Group.
Kieran’s other responsibilities include:
- Vice Chairman of the Findex Asset Allocation and Investment Committee
- Responsible Manger of the Group Funds Management business and Responsible Entity
- Senior management and administration roles in community based volunteer and not for profit organisation

Prior to joining Dexus, Mark worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant and was responsible for real estate market research, property valuation, project feasibility studies, scenario analysis, financial modelling for real estate investments, transaction due diligence and bespoke advisory engagements. Mark also spent time within the Ernst & Young corporate finance team in Singapore.

Rob has extensive experience developing quantitative models, having built and used machine learning methods in financial markets, as well as for computer vision and NLP problems.
Prior to joining Vinva, Rob worked for 57degrees, an AI robotics company in the UK, where he was a Lead Scientist, researching and developing classification and semantic segmentation neural networks for computer vision that integrated into the robot’s 3D environment mapping framework.
Prior to that, Rob worked in London for Aberdeen Standard Investments for over 10 years, most recently a quantitative investment manager, Macro Systematic Strategies, in the Multi-Asset group.
After completing University, Rob was selected in the Credit Suisse Asset Management Graduate program in Sydney.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) majoring in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Sydney University, and where he was the recipient of the Tim Brown Prize (1st place overall for final year statistics).
He also completed an Honours year in Statistics, where he graduated with First Class Honours.

Ross has many years’ experience in client service and Business division leadership in Australia, New Zealand and the UK having previously served as Chief Executive of AllianceBernstein Australia & NZ and Managing Director of AMP New Zealand. His earlier career involved senior product marketing and strategy roles at Prudential UK and Prudential Australia.
