He started his career with Morningstar in 1999, before moving into Policy roles at IFSA (now the Financial Services Council). Brook worked as an Asset Consultant for Morningstar in Europe and Asia through the GFC period as well as being the daily trader of their white labelled Italian Banca Generalli Controlled Volatility managed fund. Brook returned to Australia in 2012 with Morningstar, before joining Colonial First State in 2015. He joined Lonsec in early 2018 as a Senior Investment Consultant and provides portfolio construction advice including fund selection and asset allocation recommendations to Lonsec investment consulting’s clients including dealer groups, independent financial planning groups and industry super funds.

IMAP's Portfolio Management Conference 2019 is being held at the Amora Hotel, which is in the heart of Sydney's CBD, 5 star Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney offers full conference amenities and has spacious, boutique guest rooms with separate bath and shower, along with a service that sets the standard for Sydney hospitality.
